WEEKEND WARM-UP: The title fight gets set for another turn on the twisting streets of Monaco

The seventh race weekend of the season sees the world of Formula 1 descend on Monaco. Can home favourite Charles Leclerc finally break his duck and see the chequered flag just metres from where he grew up, or will it be more bad luck for the Monegasque driver at his home race?

That’s just one of the storylines set to be played out around these iconic streets, which often throw up a few surprises. Max Verstappen will be chasing a fourth straight victory as he seeks to extend his lead in the championship, while it will be all eyes on Mercedes to see if their recent improvements pay off.

There will be a fair few famous faces on the grid come Sunday, but they may well need their umbrellas, as there is a chance of rain for the race which could shake up things considerably.
