Lando Norris bagged the fastest lap on Friday in Abu Dhabi, the McLaren man topping the second practice session under the lights with a 1m 23.517s. That was enough to beat the field by over two tenths of a second in an impressive display.
McLaren look firmly in the mix at Yas Marina, which is just as well as the constructors' title is on the line. The bad news for the papaya team is that Ferrari – their title rivals – also look fast. But the good news is that Charles Leclerc cannot bag pole tomorrow, as he has a 10-place grid drop looming for Sunday's Grand Prix.
The action resumes at the Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday at 1430 local time for the third and final practice session. Until then, click play on the video above to ride onboard for Norris' fastest Friday lap.
