Sergio Perez showcased his street racing credentials at last year’s Monaco Grand Prix as he reigned supreme to seal a dramatic victory – but can he do the same in 2023?
The Red Bull driver, along with his team mate Max Verstappen, has shone this year with the team winning every Grand Prix so far in 2023. With Verstappen at the top of the drivers’ standings on 119 points, and Perez just behind in second on 105 points, the duo look set to star once again around the streets of Monte Carlo. Could Ferrari, Mercedes and Aston Martin challenge on a circuit unlike any other?

The likes of AlphaTauri’s Nyck de Vries and Williams’ Logan Sargeant will also want to have positive weekends in Monaco after challenging starts to their campaigns – while Alpine will look for a statement performance.
There’s also the small matter of what the weather may do at the race, with new wet tyre rules set to carry over for the upcoming weekend.
