Last year's Italian Grand Prix was full of drama, with Safety Cars, a crucial Red Flag period and a tactical error from Mercedes all combining for one of the stand out races in a brilliantly exciting season.
Kevin Magnussen’s race ended early doors but his retirement proved absolutely pivotal as race leader Lewis Hamilton pitted as the Safety Car was called out – not realising the pit lane was closed.
That led to a penalty for the Mercedes man, which wound up being served after a red flag period caused by Charles Leclerc crashing heavily for Ferrari.
