Three days of pre-season running have come and gone, with hundreds of laps turned from morning to evening at the Bahrain International Circuit…
Day 1 of testing saw Max Verstappen go fastest, as the reigning champion and his team mate Sergio Perez – who drove on the following two days – enjoyed a mostly smooth programme and set some fast times to boot.

Mercedes continued to improve, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell setting their fastest laps on Sunday – while Ferrari were also quietly honing their SF-23 as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz shared duties.
Aston Martin turned heads with their AMR23, Felipe Drugovich standing in for Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso completing his programme, while Williams enjoyed some progress with rookie Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon at the wheel this year.
