Usher and The Roots join Austin concert line-up
Singing superstar Usher has been added as the headline act for the post-race concert at Austin’s Circuit of The Americas, which immediately follows the 2016 Formula One United States Grand Prix.
The Grammy award winning artist, who will be backed on the COTA Super Stage by the sounds of one of the best bands in the business - neo-soul artists, The Roots - has been drafted in as a replacement for The Weeknd, who had to cancel his performance.
Usher and The Roots join previously announced headliner Taylor Swift, who is set to perform a collection of her biggest hits from the last decade after qualifying on the Saturday. It will be her first performance since ending The 1989 World Tour - the most successful tour of last year.
Three-day tickets for the Austin race - which include access to the Taylor Swift concert on Saturday and the Usher concert on Sunday - are available to purchase in the F1 Ticket Store.
