TECH WEEKLY: Why Red Bull’s new floor has 'real potential' but needs further tweaking around it
Red Bull brought a new floor to Silverstone but, while there are signs of potential, additional tweaks could be needed to unlock it fully.

Red Bull introduced a new floor at Silverstone and it was used by Max Verstappen throughout the British Grand Prix weekend.
Although he struggled with his low-downforce wing in the wet race, finishing fifth after taking pole position the day before, the changes to the car’s behaviour resulting from the floor hint that there is real potential in the update, but that it requires further tweaking around it.
