Official Connectivity Provider to Formula 1, Tata Communications, have announced the second instalment of the F1® Connectivity Innovation Prize.
The 2015 F1 Connectivity Innovation Prize comprises of two challenges. Three best entries from each challenge will win VIP trips to the 2015 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The best entry among these will win the $50,000 grand prize and the coveted 2015 F1 Connectivity Innovation Prize trophy.
Through these challenges, the competition will aim to promote innovation, next generation technology and creative thinking in the sport. It is an international platform for passionate F1 fans to showcase their ideas.
The judges this season are John Morrison - Chief Technical Officer of Formula One Management, Lewis Hamilton - 2014 FIA Formula One Drivers’ World Champion and driver for the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Paddy Lowe - Executive Director (Technical) of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, David Coulthard and Martin Brundle - F1 Commentators and former F1 drivers, Julie Woods Moss - CMO & CEO Nextgen Business at Tata Communications & Mehul Kapadia - Managing Director of the F1 Business at Tata Communications.
