The Monaco Grand Prix delivered drama in spades, starting with a heavy rain storm that left the drivers soaked to the skin, and ending with a fantastic victory for Sergio Perez that brought a tear to the eye for more than just the Mexican. But with so much going on, it was no surprise that the airwaves were full of confusion as the drivers tried to work out exactly where they were.
Traffic in Free Practice and qualifying saw several drivers almost tangle with each other (and light up the comms), while Saturday's qualifying saw plenty of frustration with end-of-Q3 crashes for Perez before the tunnel entry and for Fernando Alonso at Turn 5.
Come race day, Nicholas Latifi was incredulous when he went off at the hairpin, with the drivers giving their respective weather reports, before a pit stop mix-up angered Charles Leclerc.
Zhou Guanyu pulled off a stunning save during the race, Perez was ecstatic with his first win of the season – and Leclerc couldn't believe his (bad) luck.
