PADDOCK PASS: Hear from all the drivers – including F1 debutants Aitken and Fittipaldi – ahead of the Sakhir GP
There was a fresh look to the F1 field on Thursday of the Sakhir Grand Prix, with George Russell resplendent in his Mercedes gear as he prepares to step in for the ill Lewis Hamilton at the all-conquering team, while Jack Aitken and Pietro Fittipaldi were also on the ground, as they get set for their F1 race debuts with Williams and Haas respectively.
Aside from the driver changes, there was plenty more to discuss in the paddock at Bahrain on Thursday, not least the exciting prospect of racing on the new-to-F1 Outer Track of the Bahrain International Circuit, which at just 3.5km promises sub one-minute qualifying laps on Saturday.
