‘One of the all-time motorsport greats’ – F1 teams, drivers and former colleagues pay tribute to Eddie Jordan

Personalities across the Formula 1 and wider motorsport community have been paying tribute to Eddie Jordan, who passed away at the age of 76 on Thursday.
Jordan will be remembered as one of F1’s most iconic team owners, having brought his eponymous squad to the championship in the early 1990s and made it to the top step of the podium on four occasions.

He memorably gave Michael Schumacher his F1 debut in 1991, ahead of the German becoming a seven-time champion, with plenty more star names passing through the Jordan factory over the years.
Life after team ownership saw him become a popular television pundit and presenter, while he recently helped F1 design guru Adrian Newey leave his Red Bull contract early and take up a new position at Aston Martin.
