Qualifying sessions don't come much closer than the one we saw in Hungary, with Lewis Hamilton edging out Max Verstappen for pole position by just 0.003s. But that wasn't the only unexpected storyline...

How about two Alfa Romeos in the top 10, with Zhou Guanyu (pictured above) a career-best fifth and Valtteri Bottas seventh? Or how about George Russell failing to make it out of Q1 in the second Mercedes? Or Sergio Perez back into Q3 at last, with P9 for Red Bull?
