HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the action from the first practice session at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Sergio Perez continued his fine run of form by setting the fastest time of the first practice session at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
At a windy Baku City Circuit, the Red Bull driver set a time of 1m 45.476s, to lead Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 0.127s, with team mate Max Verstappen a further 0.334s back in third place. Carlos Sainz finished in P4 in the second Ferrari.
Alpine's Fernando Alonso was fifth, ahead of Lewis Hamilton in P6, with Mercedes team mate George Russell in P8, sandwiched between the AlphaTauris of Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly in P7 and P9 respectively. Esteban Ocon rounded out the top 10 for Alpine.

It was a short session for both Haas' Mick Schumacher and Williams' Nicholas Latifi, who both stopped on track with mechanical issues early on before being confined to the pits for the rest of the session.
