The second day of pre-season testing for the 2026 season in Bahrain saw Charles Leclerc top the timesheets.
Charles Leclerc ended Day 2 of 2026 pre-season testing in Bahrain on top, the Ferrari driver setting the fastest time on Thursday.
Having been at the wheel throughout the day for the Scuderia, Leclerc set his effort of 1m 34.273s during the morning session – but the time stood as the quickest to the end of the afternoon.
The Monegasque’s effort was 0.511s clear of second-placed Lando Norris – the McLaren racer having also set his time in the morning – while Haas’ Ollie Bearman followed in third ahead of George Russell in the Mercedes.
Isack Hadjar rounded out the top five for Red Bull, the Frenchman gaining mileage during the afternoon after the Milton Keynes-based squad missed out on running in the morning owing to a car issue.
