HIGHLIGHTS: Relive FP3 as Verstappen sets the pace from Piastri and Russell in extremely tight session
Less than one-tenth covered five drivers in the final hour of practice in Singapore.
Max Verstappen set the pace in Free Practice 3 for the Singapore Grand Prix as the top five drivers were covered by less than one-tenth of a second.
The Red Bull driver set a 1m 30.148s on the streets of Singapore in the final one-hour session of practice, leaving him just 0.017s clear of Drivers' Championship leader Oscar Piastri.
The McLaren driver was followed by the Mercedes of George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, with team mate and title rival Lando Norris fifth but only 0.089s behind Verstappen.
The session was briefly stopped after a second crash for Liam Lawson, with Racing Bulls in a race against time to get his car repaired for Qualifying this afternoon, while Lewis Hamilton was placed under investigation for a potential red flag infringement to be investigated after the session.
