There's a reason why drivers love Silverstone, with its flowing corners and high-speed straights. But how do you get a lap of the British GP venue nigh-on perfect?

In the video above we ride along with Daniel Ricciardo, with two side-by-side laps to compare: his good Q2 lap – slower than then Renault team mate Esteban Ocon's – and his great Q3 lap – good enough for P8 on the grid – from last year's British GP.
