Ferrari reveal name of new F1 car ahead of Valentine's Day launch

One week before the launch of their brand-new Formula 1 challenger on February 14, Ferrari have revealed the name of the car with the project number '675'…
Ferrari's new car will look resplendent in red, it will be driven by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, and will be revealed on Valentine's Day – and now the Scuderia have announced that it will be called the SF-23, continuing the team's naming convention that has been used since the 2015 SF15-T. That SF, of course, stands for Scuderia Ferrari.

The constructors note: "This is the eighth Scuderia Ferrari car to be designated SF and the fourth time that it also references the current year."
The 2017 SF70H and 2018 SF71H celebrated the 70th and 71st anniversaries of the racing team, while the 2020 SF1000 was named to celebrate the team's 1000th Grand Prix, while last year's F1-75 was named to mark 75 years since the first Ferrari production car rolled off their factory floor.
Next week, Ferrari will become the seventh team to launch their season; so far we've seen new looks from Red Bull, Haas, Williams and Alfa Romeo.
