F1 ACADEMY: Felbermayr seizes maiden victory in Montreal Race 2
Kick Sauber's Emma Felbermayr took her first F1 ACADEMY win in Montreal Race 2.

Emma Felbermayr ended her day on the highest of highs as the Kick Sauber driver pulled of a last-lap move to bring home her first F1 ACADEMY win in Montreal Race 2.
The Austrian driver celebrated her first podium in the series in Race 1, but was later disqualified after her #5 car was found to be underweight. With a second shot at success, Felbermayr took full advantage of a late Safety Car, diving past long-time leader Nina Gademan on the final lap.

Gademan snatched the lead on the opening lap from Chloe Chong and kept a firm buffer between herself and second-place Felbermayr until the Safety Car was deployed with three laps to go, following contact between Hitech TGR teammates Nicole Havrda and Aiva Anagnostiadis.
Behind her, Ella Lloyd fended off Doriane Pin and followed her teammate Felbermayr through on Gademan to secure a 1-2 finish for Rodin Motorsport.
Pin had to settle for fourth, whilst Tommy Hilfiger’s Alba Larsen sliced her way through the pack to go from 11th on the grid to fifth at the chequered flag.
Alisha Palmowski finished in sixth ahead of Aston Martin’s Tina Hausmann, while Williams junior Lia Block rounded out the points-scoring finishers in P8.
Chloe Chambers lines up on pole for Race 3, which takes place at 10:55 local time (UTC -4) on Sunday. You can read an in-depth report of the F1 ACADEMY Race 2 in Montreal and catch up on any reactions on the official website here.
