As cool days at work go, the chance to have a passenger ride with Carlos Sainz for the first hot laps of the Madring, Spain's new city circuit in Madrid, is right up there.
This event is a huge deal for Sainz. The Williams driver loves Madrid having been born there, grown up there and started racing karts there.
So, he is understandably very excited to have a race in his home city – and to be the first to get the chance to test out the layout for an event he's been closely involved with through his role as an ambassador.
