All the F1 teams and drivers who will be in action at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed

A host of familiar faces will be driving some iconic cars at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will make its return this weekend, with action set to take place from July 9-12.

A host of familiar faces from the world of Formula 1 are set to make an appearance at the annual event, as many prepare to tackle its world-famous hillclimb in some iconic machinery. The theme of the 2026 festival is ‘The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels’.

F1.com has rounded up all of the F1 teams and drivers to look out for at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed…

Mercedes

Championship leaders Mercedes and Kimi Antonelli are heading to Goodwood, the Italian making his debut appearance at the event on Thursday while Third Driver Fred Vesti will get behind the wheel of the squad’s 2022 challenger, the W13 – which will sport the team’s 2026 livery – on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Silver Arrows will also have a fan hub at the event, where visitors can experience what it is like to carry out a pit stop on the W09, Mercedes’ car from their championship-winning 2018 campaign.

Ferrari

Ferrari will celebrate 75 years of success as part of the 2026 Festival of Speed, with the Italian outfit recently marking the anniversary of their first win courtesy of Jose Froilan Gonzalez at the 1951 British Grand Prix.

As such, there is sure to be plenty for fans to enjoy from the Scuderia during this year’s event.

McLaren

Lando Norris is set to appear on the Balcony of Goodwood House on Saturday – a moment that will be made even more exciting by the fact that he will be joined by one of his heroes, nine-time Moto GP World Champion Valentino Rossi. Prior to this, Norris will tackle the Hill in the MCL60, McLaren’s 2023 F1 car.

Reserve driver Leonardo Fornaroli takes to the wheel of the same challenger on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, while he will also share driving duties of three heritage cars with former F1 racer Bruno Senna and McLaren heritage driver Rob Garofall. This will include the 1993 MP4/8 and the MP4/8B as well as the M23, the latter being the model that James Hunt won the 1976 World Championship with 50 years ago.

Red Bull and Racing Bulls

Some familiar names will be in action for Red Bull, with Isack Hadjar representing the squad along with reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda and long-term member of the stable Patrick Friesacher.

Sister team Racing Bulls are also set to be represented. Both Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad are heading to Goodwood, as is reserve driver and 2025 Super Formula Championship winner Ayumu Iwasa.

Alpine

Over at Alpine, Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will be facing the Hill in the E20 F1 car, which was driven to victory by Kimi Raikkonen at the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix when the squad was under the guise of Lotus. Gasly gets his turn on Thursday, while Colapinto takes over on Saturday.

Also in attendance will be reserve driver Paul Aron, F2 racer Alex Dunne and F1 ACADEMY race winner Nina Gademan.

Williams

In celebration of 30 years since Damon Hill clinched the World Championship, Williams have restored his FW18 which will be driven by Hill himself at the event. The Briton will share driving duties of the iconic car with Williams Team Principal James Vowles.

Meanwhile reserve driver Luke Browning and the team’s F1 Academy Adviser Jamie Chadwick are set to get behind the wheel of the FW08C, the machine that saw Keke Rosberg win the title back in 1982.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin will be represented by reserve driver Jak Crawford and the team’s Head of F1 Academy and Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins.

Both are going to be tackling the Hill for the first time in the AMR25, the squad’s challenger from the 2025 season in which they finished P7 in the Teams’ Championship, while they will also appear at the new FOS Fan Zone presented by Pirelli.
